In the second variation, or "Simplified Craps", you will win if the shooter rolls 2,3,4,10,11, or 12, and lose if the shooter rolls any other number. There are no point numbers to avoid.

When you bet in Craps, you should avoid Field, Craps 2, Craps 12, Big 6, Big 8, and Horn Bets. Most people that win against the house in Craps make use of Pass Bets. Basically, in a Pass bet, you simply bet in favor of the person rolling the dice and coming up with a number that is not pre-defined as a "craps" or loser based on the game variation.
